Personal Tax

Our Tax Partner Ex-H M Revenue and Customs, has over 35 years of experience. We have an excellent relationship with the Inland Revenue.

January is obviously a busy time as Tax Returns are due by 31st January each year, with any returns received after this date attracting a fixed penalty of £100. Do not however, leave everything to the last minute. The quicker you submit your Tax Return, the quicker you can forget about it for another year.

Corporate Tax

With over 35 years of experience preparing Corporation Tax Returns, we know what HMRC expect and in addition to preparing Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns within the specified time-limits, we submit additional information and explanations to ensure that HMRC do not have any need to open an enquiry.

We automatically claim all of the reliefs and allowances to which your Company is entitled as we prepare the accounts.

Investigations

No-one looks forward to investigations by H M Revenue and Customs. But if the worst happens then we are here to help you. We have many years dealing with investigations from both sides of the fence.

We are very experienced in dealing with Inland Revenue investigations, be they enquiries into individual Tax Returns under the Self Assessment regime, more detailed enquiries by the Inland Revenue known as full investigations or employer related investigations into PAYE and P11D compliance. We are experienced when it comes to dealing with the Special Compliance Office.

If you are about to be investigated, get in contact with us for expert help. Even if you have done something wrong we can help you to make a full disclosure and reduce any penalties which H M Revenue and Customs might seek to impose by ensuring that full and complete co-operation is given.

H M Revenue and Customs are happy to conduct interviews at our offices in surroundings which are friendly and familiar to you rather than at their offices which often appear imposing and unfriendly.
